Soul Confetti: Celebrating Life’s Lessons
The Damage of Name Calling and Moral Superiority
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
In this episode, Carrie talks about a recent podcast she listened bubbled up a wound about name calling, division, moral superiority, the political climate and the destruction of humankind. Putting people in boxes is creating such division, and devastation and squashing the human spirit. Name calling is foolish and infantile. With 8 billion people on this planet, there are 8 billion ways to experience life, physically, spirituality, sexuality, emotionality, mentally. We do not get to decide how anyone’s lived experience should make them think or act?
When are we going to stop pushing people to live in the way WE think they should live? True equality lies outside any box and any political ideology. True love is boundless, expansive and healing.
Give it some thought and ask yourself, am I exuding love, peace and joy or am I stuck in and spreading fear, guilt and shame?
